OPEN – Part-Time Amphitheater Manager
The City of Glenwood is seeking a part-time amphitheater manager approx. 20 hours a week, April – September. Responsibilities include: event preparation, operation & clean up, concessions, volunteer coordination, sales of Gold Card memberships & oversee “Friends of the Davies Amphitheater” fund drive, upkeep & landscaping of Amph and grounds, keeping detailed financial records, and resolving conflicts w/patrons, facility members & program participants. Reports to Amphitheater Board, pay is $9,500, IPERS available.

The City of Glenwood is hiring for the position of park & rec areas assistant, this a full time position which includes benefits.

Work includes maintaining and repairing all city parks & rec areas – fixed and moveable equipment, playground equipment, park facilities, shelters, restrooms, campground sites, recreation areas including basketball, tennis & pickleball courts, football & soccer fields.

Grounds maintenance: mowing, trimming, weed eating, litter & stick pick up and tree trimming.

Cleaning & maintaining grills, bathrooms & campground showers. Other duties as assigned Reports to the Park Superintendent.

Must be able to work longer hours; including some weekends during the summer season.
