Beginning March 1 of each year you can reserve park shelters. Reservations stop on October 31, 2023.
Call City Hall at (712) 527-4717 Monday – Friday 7:30-4:00 to reserve a shelter.
Reservations for park shelters are accepted beginning March 1 each year. We rent three shelters: A, B and C. These three shelters have electricity, water and BBQ for grilling. Reserved shelters are $20 a day. We do not charge hourly rates and this is non-refundable fee that must be paid no later than 72 hours prior to the event. You can mail or stop in at City Hall (5 N. Vine St.) to make payment, after reservation is made. Checks payable to: City of Glenwood. If mailing a check; be certain to include name; date and shelter (A, B, or C). City Hall can accept credit (no AMEX) and debit card payments over the phone as well. Please see below for Map and images of the shelters available.
Please note the white shelter (Museum shelter) is only reservable through the Mills County Historical Society, they can be reached at 712-527-5038.
